Ringo Starr Bio

Richard Starkey was born on July 7, 1940. He was the oldest Beatle. He replaced Pete Best as the Beatles drummer in 1962 and was the last Beatle to join. He was not the drummer for Love Me Do; it was Andy White playing the drums on the released version. The first song he sang was Boys. The first song he wrote was If You’ve Got Trouble. It never made a Beatles album. He is noted for singing Yellow Submarine and With A Little Help From My Friends as well as writing Octopus’s Garden. He also came up with the title for A Hard Day’s Night.
